EQUIMAX® (ivermectin/praziquantel) Paste should not be used in other animal species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs, may result. FOR ORAL USE IN HORSES 4 WEEKS OF AGE AND OLDER. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption. Swelling and itching reactions after treatment with ivermectin paste have occurred in horses carrying heavy infections of neck threadworm (Onchocerca sp. microfilariae), most likely due to microfilariae dying in large numbers. Not for use in humans. Ivermectin and ivermectin residues may adversely affect aquatic organisms; therefore dispose of product appropriately to avoid environmental contamination.

Ella Sarah, a 7yo Morgan Cross, was seized by the county for abuse and neglect. She was severely underweight and visibly unhealthy. Sent to Graz’n Acres Therapeutic Riding Center, she is now again a healthy, happy horse. One of the products that helped Ella Sarah on her way to recovery was Equimax®, an equine dewormer donated to GATRC by Bimeda®.

Cyndi Raiford, the Director of GATRC says: “ We always try to bring in a rescue if possible when looking for a new partner at the center. We appreciate all the support and donations from Bimeda that help bringing horses back to health.“
